Strange Signs from Abroad

I love nothing more than seeing signs in ridiculously poor English while I'm travelling.  It instantly makes me feel better about butchering the language of whatever country I'm in.  Check this site out for tons of great ones:

Here are a couple of my favorites:

  1. haha I love badly translated signs when I'm travelling...and menus.
I was in Barcelona one afternoon when I stopped at a little place near La Sagrada Familia and the menu was offering something called "meatballs to the window box."
I TOLD them I would like a Spanish menu, but I guess they figured I didn't actually know Spanish. Oh well, I had entertainment.

  2. I love the signs in SE Asia. Utterly amazing. My favorites are the ones that aren't actually spelled wrong, but the message itself is just plain ridiculous. My favorite was a sign on a bus in Malaysia that said "Cows are Prohibited on the Bus". I wonder who the hell attempted that one.
